Welcome to one of New Zealand's best kept secrets, The Coromandel Peninsula.
The Coromandel offers some of the best fishing to be found in New Zealand with its numerous Islands and deep water only Kilometers from the main land and offers every style of fishing you could want and every species you could want to target including Snapper, Kingfish, Kahawai and Hapuku to name a few.
The Peninsula is surrounded by several groups of Islands, on the Eastern side there are the Alderman Islands to the south as you go North there are the Ohinau Islands and the Mercury Islands and then further North Cuvier and Great Barrier Island. On the Western side of the Peninsula we have The Coromandel Islands. With a landscape like this there is always somewhere to fish, pretty much in all weathers you will get to fish somewhere around the Peninsula which is a real bonus.
Aside from offering some of the best fishing to be found The Coromandel also offers great Scuba and Free diving, pristine beachs, Kayaking, Surfing, great Hiking trails and a massive array of Arts and Crafts.
